Tall Grass

As we make "late" horse preperations, the grass is growing tall...
Today, I let the horse into a back yard area, to help bring it down a tad.

Join Up

is a term I been hearing about in this new "Horse World". It's a point in a communication process, when the members become aquainted, or in agreement, of some sorts...
what do I know?
but, today I held the camera as Lil Joe, and Tanoka decided to say hello

Trailoring

I am trying to get this horse into this fairly small trailor.
Lots to learn
pointing the trailor towards the light, I dont think horses like to enter dark spaces.
The Trailor seems to be a good value. 1989, good tires, good floor, Lights work, good hitch, and the price is $500, which is agreeable to my wallet.

I think I need to have the morning hay located in the trailor, tomorrow, and we shall see, how easy it is to load her up!

I notice lots of feed bags hangin in the front of trailors. Coaxing aint recommended too much. But it does seem to work. As did wrappin the lead line around the horses rump.

Fortunately the lady is allowin me to try it out before I buy it!

Well, sooner or later, we were going to do it, and today was the day.
We went to the mainland, and bought the first horse we saw.
A small Haflinger Mare.
So far so good. Donkeys are adjusting
