Fall Games

Kenzie was a bit apprehensive about takin her pony out to do some Gaming, but after a few good runs, her attitude improved, and she had a great time "beating her personal best" at our fall games today.

We are having a week, of good weather into the fall, and the horses continue to keep us busy. Riding, working with them, feeding them, etc etc etc.

Tanoka meets us comin up the drive, and I shot her with my 50mm lens on the ride in, as her winter coat grows out, she seems more golden than before. She's a nice horse, I really enjoy her, as I do all three of them. She makes a nice greeter to our little place.

As I admired the pony, our neighbor Tony rode up to show up his new motorcycle, and as usual he had his tiny friend with him. Shes needs goggles as well...

Watershed

We went on a three hour trail ride today, amazing, and the horses behaved beyond our expectations. Our island gives up a wealth of forested beauty to explore.
This is the mossy knoll which overlooks the Roache Harbor Watershed to the north.

we actually left the property and made it thru the woods today, and our new horse, Blue, or Moon, or Hotrod, we aint sure what to call her is really doing well her second or third week with us.

Horse Dynamics are changing. The gate spring captures my attention, as does, Kenzie's new 4th Grade Haircut.
We sure have three fine horses now! And, they are all turned out together, at the moment, as I rest from fencebuilding all day, and posthole digging in very hard ground!

Tiger and I made our gaming debute Wed night, and look for to Thursday and Friday as well.
It was better than the bumper cars!
